WW2 bolt action rifle, Remington US Model 1903A3, caliber .30-06. Outstanding used condition. This one was manufactured in September 1943, serial number 3977842. Marked parts are Remington, including the stock, see photos and listing below for details. It's possible more marked parts might be found if the gun was further disassembled. There are no import marks. All metal parts
have original finish. The rifle has possibly never been fired (since proof). If
it has been fired, it was very little. You don't see 1903A3s in this condition very often.

Stock: walnut, semi pistol
grip, no finger grooves, two recoil bolts. Has been sanded very smooth, would
have been better if somebody hadn’t done this. Some of the markings have been
removed or made obscure. On the left side, the usual “RA”, “FJA” and crossed
cannons can be made out. Circled “P” on pistol grip. No cracks.
