Springfield Armory M1 Garand, produced in 1955. Outstanding example of a later production M1. Serial number 5894218, with a 1955 barrel with a bright bore. The rifle has all postwar Springfield parts. Original finish on the receiver shows just light wear. The stock is in great shape with stars & eagle cartouche and circled "P". All marked parts are detailed below and shown in photos. No import marks. This is not a reclaimed receiver.
Bench test of timing and op rod function is excellent. We will lubricate and test fire the rifle if the buyer wants this done.
Sling, two M1 enbloc clips (no ammo) and a manual are included.
