WW2 era Springfield Armory M1 Garand. Serial number 3293711 dates to November
1944. Barrel is also Springfield, likely original, from November 1944, with a bright bore. This rifle is in excellent
used condition. The rifle has all military parts, of mixed manufacture, many from WW2, detailed below and shown in photos. This is not a reclaimed receiver. There are no import marks.
Bench test of timing and op rod function is excellent. We will lubricate and test fire the rifle if the buyer wants this done.
Sling, two M1 enbloc clips (no ammo) and a manual are included.

Receiver: Springfield Armory, marked “D 28291 35” on leg.
No pitting.
Barrel: Springfield, marked “3 S A 11-44” with proof “P” and punch mark. Likely the original barrel. Muzzle Erosion: 1 1/2, Throat Erosion: 2, bright bore.
Op rod: D35382 9 SA, unmodified. This
part is from the date range of the receiver.
Rear sight: T105 postwar type
Bolt: Springfield, marked D282287-12SA
Gas cylinder: wide sight base, flat
on top of rear ring marked “J”, punch mark on bayonet lug. This indicates that
this part is from the date range of the receiver.
Trigger group: HRA, marked 6528290-HRA N
Stock and handguards: walnut, no
cracks. Stars and eagle stamp on left side, indicating that this is from a 1953-1955 Springfield. Stock has some dings and gouges, overall nice appearance.
Sling: military, used, very nice
