Krieghoff Model 32 trap shotgun. Serial number 9713 dates to 1973. Excellent used condition. This gun has a 34 inch top single barrel with fixed choke (improved modified) and is equipped with double release triggers.
RECEIVER: No pitting, bluing shows some wear. Condition of scrolls and lettering show that the receiver has not been reblued.
TOP SINGLE TRAP BARREL: 34”, vent rib, ported, barrel block marked IM. Barrel serial is 5782. Front and mid bead sights. Bore is .738, constriction .025. Bore is bright and shiny. Barrel bluing is very good, with the usual scratches at lower rear from assembly. The “ears” have had a spot welded on top, a common repair with used barrels.
STOCK AND HANDGUARDS: walnut, checkered, adjustable comb, pistol grip style. Near new Kick-Eez recoil pad. Almost new appearance except for some small dents under the stock. LOP: 14”. Has no visible cast. Adjustable comb is parallel to the bore, as a trap stock should be. May be factory wood, we don’t know, certainly not original to this receiver.
We test fired the receiver with both the top single and an O/U barrel, everything works very well. One of the release plates is marked “Allem” dated 1991. Both release plates have been welded on, so not great appearance but they work perfectly.
