The iconic Colt snake gun, the Python. This is an early production model of the revolver, the serial number 26371 dates to 1963. The Python is .357 Magnum, with a 4 inch vent rib barrel, blued, adjustable rear sights and a six shot cylinder. This Python is in excellent used condition. There are a couple of small flaws: a minor spot of pitting on the cylinder, and two small spots of pitting on the right side of the barrel. These are shown in photos. Otherwise bluing is excellent, we estimate 98%. The revolver has been shot, there is a slight cylinder drag line, and the gun functions perfectly.

The grips are replacement Pachmayr, black rubber, in nearly new condition.
