Early production H & R Arms M1 Garand, serial number 4688642 dates to 1953. This M1 was originally sold as a service grade from the Civilian Marksmanship Program in 2019. No import marks. Barrel is HRA 1953 and may be original to the gun, other parts are mixed manufacturers, all are detailed below. This M1 is in excellent used condition.

corners. Marked on top with serial number and “U.S. RIFLE CAL. 30 M1 H. &
R. ARMS CO.”.
Barrel: marked
“HRA D6535448 1-53 RS25” with proof mark “P”, “M” punch mark, and several misc.
markings including stars and eagle. Bore, crown and rifling are excellent.
Chrome pads at gas port, chamber in the white. Muzzle measures 1, CMP tag
says 1+ but our gauge says less than 1. Throat measures 2.
