Russian SKS made at Tula Arsenal in 1953. The SKS is a semi-automatic rifle, caliber 7.62 x39mm, with a 20.5 inch barrel with bayonet and fixed 10 round magazine. This is an all matching serial number SKS, serial BP3928 appears on several marked parts including the stock, detailed below and shown in photos. This is one of the nicer looking Russian SKS rifles we've seen, it is in excellent used condition, apparently never used at all. Wood finish is excellent overall other than some scrapes at front. Metal condition is like new, no pitting or scratches.
The gun comes is complete with bayonet, Russian sling, cleaning rod and cleaning kit (in the stock).

Receiver: “BP3928” left side, import mark from CDI Swan, VT CCCP91209 on right side. Misc assembly marks also present. Bolt face appears unused.
Barrel: 20.5 inches, Bore is bright and shiny.
Stock: TULA star, “1953r”, “BP3928”, and other misc markings, all original (below finish).
Receiver cover: TULA star on top, “BP3928r”
“BP3928” appears on the back of the receiver cover, trigger guard, magazine cover, bolt carrier, bolt, extractor, gas piston tube and rod.
