Winchester M1 Garand, caliber .30-06. Serial number 1326550
dates to mid WW2 production, May 1943. This Garand has all military parts, of mixed
manufacture, detailed below and shown in photos. This is not a reclaimed receiver. No import marks.
The gun is in excellent used condition.
Bench test of timing and op rod function is excellent. We will lubricate and
test fire the rifle if the buyer wants this done.
Two M1 enbloc clips (no ammo) and a
manual are included.

SPECS:
Receiver: Winchester, marked “D 28291-2”
on leg. No pitting. Although the receiver has likely been refinished, it
appears like new with unusually sharp lettering and all the usual WRA machining
marks. This is a “two-tone” receiver – from a WWII heat treatment of the heel
by being dipped in hot lead. This produces the dark appearance of the heel.
Barrel: Springfield Armory, marked
“SA D6535448 2 53 A189A” with “M”, proof “P”, crossed cannons, and other misc
marks. Measures 2 at muzzle, 4 at throat, bright bore.
Op rod: HRA, 6535382
Rear sight: T105 postwar type
Bolt: Springfield Armory, D282287-17SA
Gas cylinder: wide sight base, flat
on top of rear ring.
Trigger group: Springfield Armory, D28290-18

Stock: walnut, no cracks. Has very
few dings and gouges as military wood goes, overall very nice appearance. This is
a military replacement stock, marked “RA-P”(somewhat faint) and has uncircled
“P” on pistol grip.
Handguards: walnut, very similar
condition and appearance as stock. Rear HG marked “211”
Sling: military, used.
