Smith & Wesson Model 48 .22 Magnum

Smith & Wesson Model 48 revolver, caliber .22 magnum. Serial number 27K94xx dates to 1978.

This is a Model 48-4, with a four inch pinned barrel with serrated top rib. Fixed front and micrometer click rear sights. Serrated trigger and hammer. Checkered walnut grips with Smith & Wesson medallions. Cylinder holds six rounds of .22 magnum.

This revolver is in excellent used condition. We estimate bluing at 99% plus. There is one small light scratch on the left side of the barrel, otherwise we see no scratches or dings or pitting on the metal.  Grips are like new with no cracks or chips. It does not appear the gun has been fired much at all, there is just a faint drag line on the cylinder.

The original box, with matching serial number on the side is included, along with a cleaning brush and screwdriver.
