Springfield Armory M1 Garand, WW2 receiver dates to January
1943. 1951 Springfield barrel with an excellent bore. This rifle is in excellent
used condition. The rifle has military parts with some variation in
manufacturer, and new reproduction walnut stock and handguards. No import
marks.
The rifle
has been disassembled, cleaned and lubricated. Parts were clean for photos,
coated with oil and greased where appropriate when reassembled. We did test
fire the gun, and it cycled through a clip fine, ejecting it at the end.
Repro canvas sling and two M1 enbloc clips (no ammo)
are included.

· Receiver: Springfield Armory, serial number 1132618,
marked “D 28291 17” on leg. Excellent condition, refinished. Some finish wear
at corners.
· Barrel: marked “S-A-10-51” in op rod slot, with proof
mark “P” also marked “D35448-42-A156A” on top, with crossed cannons stamp. Bore
is bright and shiny. Barrel measures 1 at muzzle, 3 at throat.
· Clip latch: late square front type, unmarked
· Op rod: flat side, marked “D35382 9 SA”, modified
· Op rod catch: late type, unmarked
· Bullet guide: WWII forged/milled
· Follower: late type, marked “12”
· Follower arm: no bevel
· Follower rod: long fork, riveted
