Springfield Armory M1 Garand. Mid WW2 manufactured
receiver, serial number 1789xxx dates to August 1943. Barrel is LMR dated November
1953, with a bright bore. Other major components are a mix of manufacturers,
WW2 and postwar. Parts are described below and shown in pictures. No import
marks. Stock and handguards are new walnut.
The Garand has been disassembled, cleaned, lubricated, and
test fired. Parts were clean for photos, coated with oil and greased where
appropriate when reassembled.
Sling and two M1 enbloc clips (no ammo) are included.

with serial number and U.S. RIFLE CAL. 30 M1 SPRINGFIELD ARMORY. No pitting.
Barrel: marked LMR D653548 11-53 A24 on side with
proof P and small crossed cannons. Bore, crown and rifling are excellent.
