Springfield Armory M1 Garand, serial number 3329xxx, manufactured December 1944. Springfield barrel dated May 1951, with a bright bore. Other major components are a mix of manufacturers, WW2 and postwar. Parts have been reparkerized. All parts are described below and shown in pictures. No import marks. Stock and handguards are new walnut.

The Garand has been disassembled, cleaned, lubricated, and test fired. Parts were clean for photos, coated with oil and greased where appropriate when reassembled.

Sling and two M1 enbloc clips (no ammo) are included.

Plus: a free repro M1 Garand canvas carry case, marked US.




Receiver: marked 28291 35 on leg, heat lot A 2 O A. Marked on top with serial number and U.S. RIFLE CAL. 30 M1 SPRINGFIELD ARMORY. A few spots of very light surface pitting on receiver legs.

Barrel: marked S-A 5-51 on side, marked on top D6535448 41 146A. Bore, crown and rifling are excellent.

Barrel Gauge Measurements: Muzzle Wear:2, Throat Erosion: 3

Clip latch: square front type, unmarked

Op rod: marked 6535382 HRA.

Op rod catch: unmarked

Bullet guide: stamped with notch

Follower: unmarked

Follower arm: unmarked

Follower rod: long fork, riveted, unmarked

Bolt: marked 6528287 HRA U

Sight knobs: postwar

Trigger housing:  WWII type, marked D28290-12-SA, small pad, cloverleaf hole

Trigger guard: marked C 46025 W.R.A.

Trigger: unmarked

Hammer: C46008-2 SA

Gas cylinder lock: unmarked

Gas cylinder screw: cross slot, marked P and O

Stock and Handguards: New commercial walnut
