Late WWII production Inland Division General Motors M1 .30
Carbine. Serial number 51490xx,
manufactured 1944. Inland barrel, bolt, slide and other small parts, others are
mixed manufacturers.
This carbine is in excellent used condition, with far
above average bore. No import marks. All metal except springs has been
reparkerized. No metal parts were ever pitted.
The carbine has been test fired and functions perfectly.
Sling, oiler and two magazines are included. 15 round USGI
and one repro mag, buyer choice of 15 or 30 round.

cut low wood, NOT M2 type. Marked in sling well BR-B, IBM. Crossed cannons
barely visible on right side, 79 stenciled on pistol grip. .U. on left side (underwood
rebuild mark). No cracks, fewer than average dings/scratches, very nice
appearance. Has small crack next to recoil plate, which our gunsmith has
stabilized - it will not crack further.
Handguard: walnut,
two rivets, unmarked. Looks to us like a commercial replacement, good match to
stock
