This carbine has an Inland barrel dated Jan 44, with a bright bore. There is no bayonet lug, and no evidence of one ever being on the gun. The Inland stock is marked with "IO" in the slingwell and a somewhat faint crossed cannons cartouche on the right buttstock. There is also a mark indicating an arsenal rebuild at Mt. Ranier. Most marked metal parts are Inland, with the exception of the trigger housing, which is unmarked, a commercial replacement. All parts are described below and shown in photos. No import marks. A sling and magazine pouch are included, along with two 15 round magazines.
