HRA (Harrington & Richardson) M1 Garand, serial number
5625887, manufactured in 1955. HRA barrel dated May 1955 with a bright bore. All marked parts including the
stock are HRA. No import marks.
This M1 is in exceptional used condition. No pitting anywhere, and very little wear to the metal overall. Looking at the
bolt face, op rod, gas port and gas plug there is minimal finish wear and it is
obvious that this rifle has been fired very little, possibly never since proof,
and has rarely even been hand-cycled. The gun has been handled and moved around
over the years, as the wood has some dents and handling marks.
This Garand was originally purchased from the CMP (Civilian Marksmanship Program) in 2013, a certificate of authenticity is included.
Also included: two M1 enbloc clips (no ammo) and sling.
“6528291” on leg, heat lot “N”. Excellent condition, absolutely no pitting, no
scratches or gouges, no finish wear even at corners.
“HRA 6353448 5-55 RS52” in op rod slot, with “P” and punch mark, “M”, and small
stars and eagle. Chrome pads at gas port. Bore is bright like new. Crown
excellent, chamber in the white. External finish is in perfect condition, no
