Mid 1950s production M1 Garand, manufactured by H&R
Arms, serial number 5508xxx. Barrel is HRA, dated September 1954 with a bright
bore. Very nice looking HRA stock. No import marks.
This M1 rifle is in excellent used condition. All marked metal parts are HRA, all are
described below and shown in photos.
The Garand has been disassembled, cleaned, lubricated, and
test fired. Parts were clean for photos, coated with oil and greased where
appropriate when reassembled.
Sling noted below and two M1 enbloc clips (no ammo) are included.
SPECS:
Receiver: marked 6528291 on leg, heat lot L. Marked
on top with serial number and U.S. RIFLE CAL. 30 M1 H. & R. ARMS CO. Original
finish, shows some finish wear on legs, no pitting.
Barrel: marked HRA 6535448 9-54 RS38, with proof
marks. Shiny bore with strong riflings. Chrome pads at gas port, chamber in the
white.
