Browning Challenger .22 caliber pistol made in Belgium. Serial number dates to 1974. 

This is the first edition of the Challenger series, with a 6 3/4" barrel, fixed front and adjustable rear sights. It has the somewhat rare plastic wraparound grips (only made in 1974) marked "BROWNING" on both sides. The gun has a gold trigger and comes with a 10 round magazine, marked ".22 L.R. BROWNING" on the bottom.

Bluing is excellent, we estimate 99%, with just some light scratches, no pitting or rust anywhere. Grips have no cracks or chips, only a few minor scratches/handling marks. Bore is bright and shiny.

The gun has been shot and works perfectly.
