Inland US M1 .30 Carbine Bavarian Prison Guard

Price: $1,550.00
Item Number: FW01308
Availability: In Stock.

Inland Division General Motors US M1 .30 Carbine, serial number 5401586. This is a Bavaria Prison Guard carbine, marked as such. Some M1 carbines were loaned to Germany/Austria after World War II. Most if not all of these were marked for the service they were issued to (besides Prison Guard, other examples include Rural Police, Game Warden, State Police etc). Many were refinished in black oxide by the Germans during the postwar period, including this one. This carbine, like all Bavarian M1s, has the last four digits of the serial number on several parts: bolt, slide, stock and handguard.

The carbine is in excellent used condition. Bore is bright, there is no pitting on any metal parts. The stock has the Inland crossed cannons and has relatively few dings, no cracks.

This carbine has been disassembled, examined, cleaned, lubricated, and test fired. It shoots great, see our video.

15 round magazine, sling and oiler noted below are included.
