Springfield Armory M1 Garand serial number 1844xxx, dating to August
1943. O-66 marked Marine Corps rebuild with fresh matching finish on all parts.
SA 11-53 barrel with bright bore. Nice looking postwar Springfield stock. No
import marks. All parts are described below and shown in pictures.
This rifle is in excellent used condition. Minimal wear on finish of
all parts shows little if any firing since the rebuild.
The rifle has been disassembled, cleaned and lubricated. Parts were
clean for photos, coated with oil and greased where appropriate when
Sling noted below along with two M1 enbloc clips (no ammo), and canvas
bandolier are included.

marked “D 28291 29” on leg, heat lot B8B<>. Excellent condition, no

cylinder screw: cross slot, poppet valve type, marked “NHC IHC”
walnut, postwar SA, armory epoxy bedding at floorplate to improve lockup, which
is very tight. Circled “P” on pistol grip, lightly marked “A” same place, DAS
(stars and eagle) on left side. Also stencil marked rack number “D61” on right
side. No cracks, fewer than average dings/scratches but one chip near the
elevation knob, excellent appearance.
