HRA M1 Garand, serial number 55052xx, made about 1954. HRA 8-54 barrel
with a like new bore and excellent gauge measurements. HRA stock. No import marks.

This rifle is in excellent used condition. From the condition of the
bolt face, op rod, gas port, and minimal finish wear in general, it is obvious
that this rifle has been fired very little, and has rarely even been
hand-cycled. It has been handled and moved around considerably, as the wood has

The gun has been disassembled, cleaned, and lubricated. Parts were
clean for photos, coated with oil and greased where appropriate when
C & R Eligible.**
marked “6528291” on leg, heat lot “G”. Excellent condition, absolutely no
pitting, no scratches or gouges, very little finish wear even at corners.
marked “HRA 6353448 8-54 RS36” in op rod slot, with “P” and punch mark, “M”,
and small stars and eagle. Chrome pads at gas port. Bore is bright as new. Crown
excellent, chamber in the white. External finish is in perfect condition, no
band: two piece flat top with roll pin

everything is assembled except main spring and hammer (Garands with binding or
rubbing op rods tend to have feeding and/or ejecting problems).

sharp. No cracks, has dings from handling, none severe, very nice appearance.
